$500 goal

Ferndale Cat Shelter saves nearly 1,000 homeless cats and kittens in metro Detroit each year. As a community funded shelter, they rely on donations to provide food, supplies, and medical care for cats who need a place to land before they find their forever homes. Each kitten costs around $425 to prepare for adoption, and adoption fees cover less than half of those expenses. Can you help sponsor a kitten?

In April, Audrey was surrendered to the Ferndale Cat Shelter. She's a sweet, chatty black and white tuxedo, so she was sure to find a great home. But Audrey wasn't feeling well, so she went to the vet. The shelter learned that this heartbreaker had a heart murmur...and kittens on the way.

Audrey was moved into a foster home, started receiving care for her heart, and gave birth to three black panthers on May 4 (may the fourth be with you). A few months (and $2,000 for care) later, and mama Audrey and her boys Luke, Lando, and Vader are ready for adoption! They may even find their forever homes before you get a chance to read this message.

Every donation contributes to stories like this. I hope you can help!
