We're saving the world, one cat at a time. Last year, FCS found homes for over 642 homeless cats in metro Detroit. Today, more than 250 cats and kittens are happily enjoying our Catfé Lounge or loving foster homes, sleeping comfy on couches and warm laps rather than roughing it outside. On average, it costs more than $500 to prepare each cat for adoption, and our adoption fees cover less than half those costs. Luckily, we have an incredible community of supporters (like YOU!) who sponsor supplies and medical care for kittens in need. Right now, we're deep in kitten season, when we are flooded with kittens with eye infections, parasites, injuries and upper respiratory infections. Would you help sponsor a kitten this month? 

Thank you for your amazing support last year! We just fell short of our fundraising goal last year yet still helped dozens of kittens find their forever homes thanks to your support. Since then, our doors have remained open, and hundreds more kittens have passed through. Do you think we can save another 50 kittens together this year? $500 sponsors one kitten from the moment they enter the Catfé to when they leave for their forever home. Here are some of the costs:

• $21 provides one kitten enough wet food for 10 days (they're always eating!)
• $50 provides enough dry food to feed a litter of kittens until they're adopted
• $40 covers two of three vaccines all kittens need before they can be adopted
• $105 covers one neuter surgery, combo test, and rabies vaccine (the third vaccine) for a male kitten
• $250 covers one spay surgery, combo test, and rabies vaccine (the third vaccine) for a female kitten
