MADR Shelter Renovations & Boarding Costs

Make A Difference Rescue (MADR) is a 501c3 non-profit, no kill, canine rescue. We help the dogs no one else will touch, regardless of their breed, behavior, or medical condition.

This includes saving dogs from euthanasia from high kill shelters, medically-fragile owner surrenders, rescues from abusive situations, and disease-ridden strays. We provide the behavioral training, medical assistance, and support to rehabilitate these dogs, no matter the cost, until they’re ready for a new forever home.

MADR is in great need of renovations at our Detroit Shelter that has helped so many stray and abused dogs.  Our shelter is a temporary home for so many Detroit dogs and we want to improve it and make it even better for these very deserving dogs while they await their forever homes.  

Our shelter is currently closed due to a zoning issue with the city of Detroit, but while we work it out with the city our dogs are safe in boarding facilities.  It is expensive to board our dogs and the money is needed to help with that as well.  We would like to do the renovations now so when the zoning issue is worked out we can bring our dogs back to a newly renovated shelter!  Please help us do that by making a donation today!
