The Time Is Now to End Childhood Cancer
Phoenix Children’s is proud to participate in the 2026 Rocket Community Challenge, where every dollar raised through Rocket Mortgage champions, community supporters, and Rocket Mortgage matching funds will directly benefit the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD) at Phoenix Children’s.
Every 34 minutes, a child in the United States is diagnosed with cancer. While advances in treatment have dramatically improved survival rates, cancer remains the leading cause of disease-related death among children. At Phoenix Children’s, we believe every child deserves the chance for a healthy future, and we are committed to ending childhood cancer.
As Arizona’s largest pediatric cancer program, the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders provides world-class care, groundbreaking research, and comprehensive support for patients and families. Philanthropic support makes this lifesaving work possible by helping us:
🎗 Advance innovative treatments such as CAR-T cell therapy, targeted radiotherapy, and emerging cellular therapies.
🎗 Fuel groundbreaking research focused on developing more effective therapies for childhood cancers.
🎗 Provide specialized patient services including fertility preservation, Child Life programs, and emotional support resources.
🎗 Support families in need through financial assistance and programs that ease the burden of treatment.
Under the leadership of renowned pediatric cancer researcher Mario Otto, MD, Ph, our team is pushing the boundaries of pediatric oncology and bringing hope to children and families facing a devastating diagnosis.
The progress we've made is remarkable, but there is still more work to do. Your support through the 2026 Rocket Community Challenge helps ensure that more children have access to lifesaving treatments, pioneering research, and the compassionate care they need.
