The Ability Experience supports the disability community across the country by engaging with individuals 1-on-1 in the spirit of inclusion. It is our mission to celebrate the abilities of all people and to develop servant leadership qualities in the men of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.
Gaming For Inclusion is a COVID innovation that is building opportunities for shared experiences in a whole new way! Through accessible gaming equipment, new doors are opening for differently abled individuals. And through that, new ways to connect with the outside world - virtually for now, and through regular visits with local partner organizations once the world re-opens.
This is MORE THAN JUST A GAME. During this time of COVID quarantine, those with disabilities are more isolated than ever. It is crucial that we work harder than ever to connect with them and to support access to the outside and non-disabled community through programming that meets their needs. Gaming For Inclusion does this!
With your participation, we can provide necessary gaming components and continue building this new platform to make Gaming a new reality for some of our partner organizations. Here's how your dollars can go to work:
> Adaptive components - starting at $150 (Adaptive joysticks, buttons, triggers, etc.)
> Monitor/screen - $250
> Gaming subscription - $20/month
> Xbox + adaptive controller - $400
