Growing Together 2026

For nearly 20 years. Our Eastside Detroit location has been more than a physical space. It has been our home, our gathering place, and a space where creativity, education, and community connection have come to life. While our work has always reached across Metro Detroit, this space has been where we have welcomed families, hosted volunteers, taught hands-on STEM lessons, and invited our community to imagine what is possible through creativity and sustainability. 

Over the years, something deeper has taken root. We have not simply operated in this community, but we have grown in relationship with this community. In seasons when the Eastside experienced disinvestment and moments of feeling forgotten, you welcomed us with open arms and allowed us to become part of the fabric of this neighborhood. Now, we have an opportunity to continue that journey by remaining rooted right where are while continuing to grow into a hub that lives at the intersection of community, education, creativity, and sustainability. 

We are launching a campaign whose goal is simple. We are inviting our community to invest in the next chapter of Arts & Scraps by helping fund the due diligence process for the potential purchase of our longtime Eastside home. We want to remain rooted in the neighborhood that has shaped our story. Your support will help us complete the assessments, planning, and professional services needed to responsibly and sustainably make this space our permanent home.
