For over 25 years, Noah at Central has been journeying alongside Detroiters experiencing homelessness. Using space at Central United Methodist Church in the stadium and theater district of downtown Detroit, Noah at Central serves bag lunch four days a week but does so much more, including providing space where Noah clients can get off the street for health and dental care and referrals, showers, a place to be warm in cold weather months, and social services to access housing and employment. Noah also has a street outreach team that finds unhoused men and women living on steam vents and under underpasses and works to persuade them that help is nearby. You might know Noah at Central from a time you packed lunches for their bagged lunch program or contributed to a fundraiser.
I'm on the board of Noah at Central because of their great work in the community, and I donate because I believe in their mission. I'm asking you to support Noah at Central. Whether it's $50, $500, $1,000, or some other number, donating during the ongoing Rocket Challenge gives Noah an opportunity to win additional prize money from the Rocket Family Foundation. Your contribution big or small goes a long way in building a community where Noah clients don't just find a meal but also caring people ready to journey with them towards fulfilling their needs and goals. Thanks for considering this request!
