The North Coast Humble Design

Since 2020, Humble Design Cleveland has transformed more than 550 empty houses into fully furnished and custom-decorated homes for families and veterans in our community.

We believe that securing housing is a crucial first step in the journey toward stability. However, a house isn't truly a home without a warm bed, a table for shared meals, and the comfort of personal touches. Despite all the effort it takes to secure housing, many of those who enter housing return to shelters within a year. Since Humble Design Cleveland began, approximately 98% of our clients remain in their homes at one year. Our data from 2023 and 2024 shows an increase to 100% finding housing stability. This reinforces that our actions are making a lasting impact.

At Humble, we create dignity through design - creating homes where families can find peace, strength, and hope. We remove the financial barriers, enabling our families and veterans to focus on what really matters; health, family, education, and a better future. And that creates a ripple effect through communities and generations to come.
