To my friends and family, Most of you know my passion and volunteer time is spent at Harmony Life Center. I reach out to you as special people in my life. As Board President, I am leading our fourth year participating in the invite-only 2025 Rocket Companies Community Challenge! I am asking you to please make a donation today to support our mission and help us raise money to continue our operations.
Harmony Life Center (HLC) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, volunteer peer run organization located in Washington Pa and serves Washington, Greene, and southern Allegheny counties. The Center provides Recovery, Resources, Support and Advocacy to individuals, families and the Community as a whole. HLC provides a safe environment for hope and fellowship for persons struggling with substance abuse addiction and mental health. The Center is an open door for over 1000 footsteps and 52 meetings per month. HLC.s philosophy in providing services is based on the SAMSHA's 8 Dimensions of Wellness as we provide access to resources that create barriers in those areas in a person's recovery. We also address social determinants of health issues and provide resources that create barriers in a person's recovery. A grief support group called Healing Hearts is also offered for parents who have lost their children to overdose; many of which are also grandparents raising their grandchildren.
I hope that you consider making a gift to Harmony Life Center through this fundraising effort. Your gift will support this important programming--providing fellowship, guidance and hope to those struggling with addictions and those who love them--as we meet the immediate needs we are now facing. Thank you in advance for your tax-deductible gift.
