Hey Patriots!
Some of you may know that my wife, Missy, battled ovarian cancer six years ago while I was a director. We are thankful that she has been in remission since February 2020. She has shared her story with several news outlets to spread awareness and now serves on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MIOCA) which helps spread awareness, funds ovarian cancer research, and supports others with an ovarian cancer diagnosis. This year, I nominated MIOCA to be a part of the Rocket Community Challenge and we are fortunate enough to be raising critical funds to support this amazing cause. Without the support of this company, our amazing leaders, and our team members our journey would have been much more difficult. So now we are asking for your support. Please donate so that MIOCA can continue providing access to care, support to survivors and their families, and funding research grants. We appreciate you!
Thank you for the love and support, Patriots!

Mission: The Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MIOCA) promotes the early detection of ovarian cancer and improved treatment outcomes. MIOCA raises awareness of ovarian cancer, provides resources and support to survivors and their families, advocates both locally and federally, educates Michigan communities, and funds innovative ovarian cancer research.
MIOCA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit. MIOCA serves survivors and their families by providing information, resources and support services as well as advocating for increased research and access to care. MIOCA serves the public by educating both women and healthcare professionals to better recognize ovarian cancer symptoms to help save lives through earlier detection. MIOCA is invested in Michigan’s scientific community by awarding ovarian cancer research grants totaling $850,000 to date. What is raised in Michigan, stays in Michigan, as MIOCA works on behalf of the ovarian cancer community.
Established in 2011, MIOCA is a Community Partner of the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance. MIOCA is committed to building a community that represents all individuals affected by ovarian cancer and where every person, regardless of their age, race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, and religion has access to our services and feels valued and welcome within our organization.
