As a volunteer with United Community Family Services (UCFS), I’ve seen firsthand how powerful compassion, connection, and community can be.
Every week, UCFS helps families who are doing everything they can to build better lives—parents working long hours but still struggling to put food on the table, newcomers trying to navigate a new culture and language, or neighbors facing sudden crises like eviction, illness, or loss.
UCFS is there for all of them—with food assistance, case management, job training, language classes, refugee resettlement support, and more.
