Let's Rise2Gether

I'm honored to be a Community Champion for Rise2Gether in this year's Rocket Community Challenge, and to help kick off their first year as part of it!

Rise2Gether is a Seattle-based nonprofit built by and for Asian women who were tired of building careers without a roadmap. It started in June 2024, after the founder talked with more than 100 Asian women (and I was one of them) and kept hearing the same thing. Brilliant, capable, accomplished women who saw themselves as not-quite-ready. Not because they lacked skill. Because almost none of them had a mentor who'd gone first.

Asian Women Summit hosted by Rise2Gether

In two years, Rise2Gether has hosted 60+ events, brought in 120+ speakers, and welcomed over 2,000 attendees. Last September their first Asian Women Summit sold out and filled Broadway Performance Hall with 300+ women. They run career panels, workshops, a wellbeing forum, and a showcase for Asian women–owned businesses, and nearly all of it runs on volunteers.

What volunteers can't cover is the rest: venues, accessibility, and scholarships for the women who need this most — the career-changers, the new grads, the ones between jobs.

My goal is $1000 to help kick off Rise2Gether first year in the Community Challenge. I'd be so grateful for your support in getting there.
