I'm excited to share an update on the P.E.A.C.E. Initiative, an organization dedicated to providing charitable services through education, empowerment, and economics. The Initiative has already made a tremendous impact on our community, offering tutoring services, finance classes, technology training, medical services for low-income populations, and wellness programs like chair exercise classes.
To expand this vital work, the P.E.A.C.E. Initiative is building a new Community Center on 27 acres of property at the rear of 2345 Tyler Road in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This center will serve the families of West Willow and the surrounding Ypsilanti communities, allowing the organization to grow its reach and deepen its commitment to education, empowerment, and economic support.
The P.E.A.C.E. Community Center represents a significant step forward in bringing even more resources and opportunities to those who need them most. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this facility will have on our community.
