Hi, 

I’m Arjan, Chief Operating Officer at Chaldean American Ladies of Charity (CALC), where I’ve proudly served for the past 7 years. Every day, I get to witness what compassion, community, and just a little help can do. And trust me, it’s powerful.

At CALC, we meet people where they are.  Whether they’re newly arrived refugees, families bouncing back from hardship, or individuals who’ve fallen on tough times. Through our Sharehouse program, we help people settle into homes with dignity, providing furniture, clothing, food, and the essentials they need to get back on their feet.

One story that sticks with me? A young single mom, struggling but determined. We helped her find a home, coached her through job interviews, got her hired, and filled her house with the items she needed to care for her kids. Today, she’s holding it down on her own; strong, stable, and thriving. That’s the CALC way.
