The Rocket Companies Community Challenge is a month-long fundraising competition featuring hundreds of nonprofits across the nation. The goal is to help these nonprofits raise as much money as possible for their respective causes. Those that raise the most will receive grand prize donations from Rocket Companies. Last year, we helped participating nonprofits raise over $1.3 Million!
The Community Challenge was created as a platform for our team members to rally behind the causes they're personally passionate about - while sharing the mission with their friends and family. But support can take many forms. You can donate, become a fundraiser or be the "hype team" for nonprofits participating in the Challenge.
Sharing on social has a big impact.
When you share a fundraiser on social media and make the story personal, nonprofits can get up to 3x the donations than those that aren't shared. These stories also tend to resonate more with family and friends than if the nonprofit shared the fundraiser on their own page. So put the power behind your passion and share the love for whatever cause you're rallying behind. Your support - no matter what form it takes - can make a big difference!
