Summer Strong: Kids First

This Summer, UMOM is putting kids first with our Summer Strong: Kids First campaign — because children experiencing homelessness deserve safety, care, stability, and the chance to simply be kids.

Between August 3–28, UMOM is participating in the 2026 Rocket Community Challenge, a national fundraising campaign that helps nonprofits raise critical support for their communities.

Many children arrive at UMOM after months of uncertainty, including sleeping in cars, staying in hotels, or moving from place to place while waiting for shelter. Your gift helps provide safe shelter, meals, healthcare, summer programming, and trauma-informed support for children and families working to rebuild their lives.

Thanks to a generous match, every gift will be doubled up to $55,000! This doubles every dollar you donate, which greatly increases the impact of your gift. Plus, every donation helps UMOM earn additional prize funding through the Rocket Community Challenge, increasing the support available for those we serve.
