Mission

The mission of Junior Achievement of Dallas is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. 

JA is striving to be the educational solution provider who collaborates with our education partners to implement strategic, scalable solutions that address root challenges in education and workforce development. We reimagine education by making learning relevant, hands-on, and future-focused; empowering students to view education as a launchpad to a fulfilling life and a thriving career.

Our unique Experiential Learning Centers, which include our programs JA BizTown® and JA Finance Park®, are where learning comes to life. Students do far more than read about financial literacy or career readiness. They step into realistic environments where they become business owners, employees, consumers, and community leaders, applying what they learn through authentic experiences.

Beyond our Experiential Learning Centers, JA Dallas serves students from kindergarten through high school with age appropriate programs in financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship. Students engage with business and community volunteers who bring classroom lessons to life, explore career pathways, develop essential workplace skills, and discover the opportunities available to them in North Texas.

These immersive experiences are made possible through dedicated business and community volunteers who connect classroom learning with the real world. Students leave our programs with practical skills, greater confidence, and a stronger belief in their own potential. JA Dallas is helping students achieve academically today and economically tomorrow while creating opportunity filled futures.

Our Impact

Each year, Junior Achievement of Dallas creates meaningful, measurable impact across North Texas. More than 30,000 students participate in JA programs annually, supported by more than 1,850 dedicated business and community volunteers who contribute over 180,000 student contact hours.
