Women have put on the uniform, braved battlefields, and sacrificed more than we can ever know. They have faced the fiercest challenges with courage and resilience.  But when the battles are over and the medals are put away, a new struggle often begins.

These women have served our country with honor, only to return home and face the heartbreaking reality of homelessness. For too many female veterans, this is their story.  They often struggle to find stable housing. Many are now single mothers trying to rebuild their lives while navigating the challenges of civilian life. Without a safe and stable home, it’s nearly impossible to create a future filled with hope and opportunity.

They need a place where their children can eat a healthy meal, can sleep soundly, where they can feel secure, and where they can finally begin to heal from the battles they’ve fought—both on and off the field.
