Since 1969, Rosedale Community Players (RCP) has been bringing quality, heartfelt theatre to the Greater Metro Detroit area. We proudly trace our roots back to North Rosedale Park, where our founders—seeking a more inclusive and open creative space—launched a new kind of community theatre. What began with rehearsals in garages and performances at Edison School has evolved into a vibrant, welcoming theatre family with decades of memorable shows under our belt.

We are especially passionate about producing new works and supporting emerging voices, while also celebrating beloved classics. Our commitment to storytelling in all its forms is matched only by our commitment to community.

RCP is a volunteer-driven group that produces a wide variety of plays each season. We welcome actors, artists, builders, techies, and anyone curious about the magic of theatre. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn and a love for collaboration.
