NW Goldberg Cares, a community development corporation located in the heart of Detroit’s NW Goldberg neighborhood, aims to improve upon the lives of residents in the predominantly African American community by incubating neighborhood businesses, building a strong community and ensuring a family friendly neighborhood.

We believe in the power of creating community within community.

NW Goldberg Cares builds community within community by transforming our neighborhood from the ground up. We create parks and green spaces where people can gather, renovate houses to bring families home, and host joyful events that celebrate who we are. Through free youth programs and hands-on support, we’re investing in the future while honoring the strength of our past. Everything we do is rooted in love for our neighborhood and belief in what we can build—together.
