Join Us to Empower Latino Entrepreneurs in Michigan Support the Talentos Latinos Awards Gala and Double Your Impact

Our signature fundraiser—the Talentos Latinos Awards Gala, held October 3rd during Hispanic Heritage Month—is more than a celebration. It’s our most important event of the year, dedicated to sustaining Prospera Lab, our Latino-focused entrepreneurial education program in Michigan.

This red-carpet evening honors unsung Hispanic heroes in culture, entrepreneurship, education, and community leadership. Guests will enjoy live music, folkloric dance, and a vibrant tribute to our shared Latin American heritage—all while investing in the future of Latino economic empowerment.

Your donation today will go even further thanks to Rocket Foundation’s matching program. Every dollar you give directly supports: Training and mentoring Latino entrepreneurs through Prospera Lab Expanding Latino Voices in Tech, our signature event series that inspires and connects Latino talent in Tech and STEM-related fields

Your support helps fund:

• Venue rental and technical production for the Gala

• Fees for cultural performers and artists

• Promotion and logistics to ensure the event’s success

• Expansion of free, community-focused entrepreneurship training and business incubation opportunities

About Prospera Lab

Prospera Lab is MEFF’s entrepreneurial education program designed to help Latino entrepreneurs launch and grow resilient, successful businesses.

It includes two integrated components:• Entrepreneurship Training: Hands-on workshops in business planning, marketing, finance, and mentorship from experienced professionals.• Business Incubator: A culturally adapted pre-incubator and incubator model based on the Lean Startup method, supporting participants from idea validation to market launch.

By delivering practical skills and real-world application, Prospera Lab equips participants to overcome systemic barriers and become engines of growth in their communities.

Latino Voices in Tech: Inspiring the Future

Latino Voices in Tech is our signature event series designed to highlight successful Latinos in technology and inspire the next generation. Through quarterly tech-talk-style events featuring storytelling, mentorship, and networking, we’re creating visibility for Latino talent in Tech and STEM-related fields.

These events lay the groundwork for our long-term vision: building a robust pipeline that connects Latino professionals to entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and real career opportunities in the tech sector as part of Prospera Lab’s future development.

Together, we can create lasting economic opportunity, celebrate our heritage, and transform lives.

Donate today and double your impact. Let’s build a stronger, more empowered Latino community in Michigan—together.

Thank you!  Mil Gracias!!!!!
