MCHS Family of Services is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to transforming the lives of Michigan’s most vulnerable populations—including foster youth, young mothers, and older adults. With a holistic, trauma-informed approach, we provide comprehensive support that addresses immediate needs and fosters long-term well-being and self-sufficiency.

Our programs empower foster youth by offering stable housing, educational and career support, life skills training, and trauma-informed counseling to help them successfully transition to adulthood and break the cycle of instability. For young mothers and their children, we provide wraparound services including parenting education, early childhood development, mental health care, and access to community resources—helping families heal, grow, and thrive. We also serve older adults by delivering essential services that promote independence, improve quality of life, and ensure they remain connected and supported within their communities.
