Since 2020, Humble Design Cleveland has turned over 400 empty houses in our community into beautiful, fully furnished, and custom-decorated homes for families and veterans.

We believe that securing housing is a crucial step, but a house isn't truly a home without a warm bed, a table for shared meals, and the comfort of personal touches. Entering housing is an important part of the journey out of homelessness, yet sadly, across the nation nearly half of those who enter housing return to shelters within a year. Since Humble Design Cleveland began, 97% of clients remain in their homes after one year. Our data from 2023 and 2024 shows an increase to 100%.

At Humble, we create dignity through design - creating homes where families can find peace, strength, and hope. We remove the financial barriers, enabling our families and veterans to focus on what really matters; health, family, education, and a better future.
