| Since 1983, we've been the premier area provider of affordable homeownership and home repair solutions for families earning 80% or less of Area Median Income. Our organization serves hardworking families in the City of Charlotte, North Mecklenburg, Gaston, and Iredell Counties, encompassing an overall GSA of more than 1.5 million people. Our programs are designed to meet the diverse needs of our community, from building and selling affordable homes to preserving existing housing and providing critical financial education. Through our New Homeownership program, we build quality homes from the ground up or renovate existing homes then priced at fair market value and sold to income-qualified homebuyers with mortgages that are "right-sized" through subsidies to be affordable. Our Critical Home Repair program provides qualified families with significant repairs, improving substandard housing conditions for those with limited financial resources. Our financial education program provides assessments, coaching and partner referrals along your journey to becoming mortgage ready. |
