First Step Wayne County

Since 1978, First Step has been working for peaceful families and safe communities in Wayne County, Michigan. The mission of First Step is to eliminate both domestic and sexual violence and to provide comprehensive services to individuals and families impacted by these crimes. 

First Step values and is committed to serving survivors of all races, ethnicities, gender identitities, sexual orientations, ages, religions, citizenship, and abilities. Domestic and sexual violence impacts anyone. 

Each year First Step touches the lives of over 7,000 survivors.
