The first day I walked through the doors of All Things Women, I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.

For weeks, I had been dealing with stress and uncertainty in just about every area of my life. Work, home, relationships—it all left me feeling like somehow I wasn’t enough.

But when I stepped into All Things Women and was able to see and feel the impact that volunteering was having on so many women and children in need, something in me began to change. My heart and soul started to feel full again.

The more I volunteered, the more I poured my time, energy, effort, and heart into whatever needed to be done, the more certain I became about my own place in the world.

All Things Women is a place that provides support, encouragement, and hope to women and children when they need it most. But what I didn’t expect was how much this organization would give back to me.

While I thought I was showing up to help others, All Things Women was also helping me in ways I didn’t even know I needed.

It reminded me that purpose can sometimes find you when you least expect it—and that pouring into others has a beautiful way of filling you back up too.
