Banbury Cross Therapeutic Equestrian Center

Banbury Cross Therapeutic Equestrian Center is a non-profit program that utilizes equine assisted activities and therapies to help enhance the lives of those with disabilities.  Founded in 1991, we have been a staple in out community and throughout Southeastern Michigan. Our instructors work with our participants to work towards their individual goals, and create lesson plans to meet those goals. 

In addition to providing therapeutic riding to adults and children with many different, physical, cognitive, and emotional needs, we are proud to say that we are a provider for veteran services where we assist veterans with therapeutic riding as well as equine assisted psychotherapy services for our community. 

Our twelve hardworking horses are donated by their owners, often retiring from show careers, as trail horses, or even backyard pets. We treat each horse with dignity and respect, providing them with top notch veterinary, farrier and in some cases chiropractic care. Our horses are truly the backbone of our program- their well being and happiness is essential.
