Jude Bryson's Beds 4 kids Fundraiser

Every child deserves a safe and comfortable place to sleep. I'm raising funds for Beds for Kids, a Charlotte nonprofit that began in 2010 when a small group of volunteers delivered furniture to a family transitioning out of a shelter. After realizing that thousands of families in the Charlotte area faced the same challenge, they founded Beds for Kids, which became an official nonprofit in 2011. What started in a small 30' x 10' storage unit serving 282 children has grown into a 17,000-square-foot warehouse that now provides thousands of beds and essential furniture pieces to local families each year.

This mission is especially meaningful to me because I grew up in poverty and spent part of my childhood in the foster care system. I understand how important it is for a child to have a safe, stable place to call home and how something as simple as having a bed can provide comfort, dignity, and a sense of security. Supporting Beds for Kids is my way of giving back and helping ensure that other children and families have the foundation they need to thrive.
