Every day, Metro Food Rescue races against the clock to rescue perfectly good food before it ends up in a landfill. We collect it, sort it, and deliver it to more than 150 community organizations that feed children, seniors, veterans, and families facing hunger.

Last year alone, we rescued 7 million pounds of food—turning what would have been waste into millions of healthy meals and hope for our neighbors.

But food doesn't rescue itself.

It takes trucks. Fuel. Refrigeration. Volunteers. Drivers. Logistics. Every rescued meal depends on people who believe that good food belongs on tables—not in dumpsters.
