The Centers serves the Cleveland community by creating a single system through which people can access a broad array of services that help them build healthier, more successful lives. The Centers provides integrated holistic services for individuals and families in the Greater Cleveland area in four core service areas:
Integrated Health & Wellness: The Centers provides integrated health and wellness services to patients without regard for their insurance status or ability to pay. Clients of The Centers have access to the full spectrum of integrated health and wellness services, including Primary Care, On-site Pharmacy, Dental Services, Behavioral Health Services (including psychiatry, counseling, case management services, same-day Behavioral Health Urgent Care Centers, Trauma Recovery Services, Substance Use Disorder Services, and Overdose and Infectious Disease Prevention. The Centers provides health and wellness services to nearly 14,000 individuals, the vast majority of whom are from households that have an income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
Early Learning & Family Support: The Centers recognizes that the first 2,000 days of life – from birth through age five – are critical to the development and growth of children. The Centers delivers high-quality early education to over 800 children annually at six sites across the region. We also have a Smart Start Home Visiting Program for pregnant or parenting families that are at-risk for poor birth and early childhood development outcomes; wraparound supports in partnership with local school districts; and our Heights Suburban Collaborative, providing multiple supports to low-income families with children and those navigating or transitioning out of the child welfare system.
El Barrio Workforce Development Program: Each year, The Centers provides approximately 1,200 individuals with services including job training, job placement, skill building, and employment retention and case management support. El Barrio provides year-round, flexible, in-person and hybrid programming. Industry certification and credentialing tracks include hospitality (restaurant and food service), adult, family and youth peer recovery support, child development associate, customer service/banking, Google IT, pharmacy technician, and phlebotomy. Several certification training tracks are offered in both English and Spanish, and El Barrio is the only full-time Spanish language general job readiness training track in Ohio.
Youth Residential Programs: The Centers provides expanded access to trauma-informed behavioral health services and emergency housing for children and adolescents in northeast Ohio. The Centers' H.O.P.E. Campus (formerly the Cleveland Christian Home) offers a comprehensive range of services to support the healing, growth, and overall well-being of every child in our care. This includes individual and group behavioral health services, crisis intervention, medical and psychiatric care, case management, life skills development, educational support, recreational programming, and social and enrichment activities. Whenever possible and appropriate, families are actively involved in the treatment process to strengthen family relationships, address conflict, and support the youth’s progress.
The Centers also operates a Basic Needs Resource Center (BNRC) that serves clients across all programs (over 5,000 annually). The BNRC ensures that families who seek support from The Centers have access to basic needs items including food, clothing, infant and baby items, personal care items, and household goods. This helps alleviate the hunger, anxiety, and trauma that can come from basic needs insecurity. The BNRC also links families in crisis to emergency housing and other services that attend to basic needs, such as utility assistance. Rocket Mortgage employees have generously volunteered their time at the BNRC's Centered Market and Adopt A Family programs in recent years. THANK YOU!
